Our Story

Seed & Shea started with a very personal problem. When I turned 50, my skin began reacting to the changes my body was going through — suddenly, the products I'd used for years were not working, and in some cases causing irritation, redness, and dryness.   Add to that Colorado's increasingly harsh weather and living at elevation, and I knew I had to make some changes to my skin care products. 

So, I went back to basics. I started experimenting in my kitchen with simple, nourishing ingredients — shea butter, cocoa butter, beeswax, coconut oil, and essential oils. The results were immediate. My skin calmed down, softened up, and finally felt like itself again.   When I retired in 2023, I finally had the time — and the clarity — to turn that passion into something real.  And now Seed & Shea is my next chapter.

Handmade with Intention

Every product we make is crafted by hand, in small batches, with the same care and attention I put into that very first batch. There are no assembly lines here — just thoughtful formulation, quality ingredients, and a genuine love for the craft. From our silky lotion sticks to our whipped body butters and sugar scrubs, each product is made to deliver real results for real skin.

Small-batch production means we can maintain quality control at every step. We take our time because your skin deserves it.

Ingredients We Believe In

We're selective about what goes into our products — because what goes on your skin matters. Our formulas are built around a foundation of deeply nourishing botanicals:

• Shea Butter — Rich in vitamins A and E, shea butter deeply moisturizes and soothes even the most sensitive skin.
• Cocoa Butter — A natural emollient that melts into skin, leaving it soft, smooth, and subtly scented.
• Beeswax — Creates a protective barrier that locks in moisture without clogging pores.
• Coconut Oil — Lightweight and antimicrobial, it absorbs quickly and supports healthy skin.
• Essential Oils — Used thoughtfully for both fragrance and skin benefits, never as a shortcut.

We believe clean beauty shouldn't be complicated. Our ingredient lists are short, honest, and purposeful.
